Install the Ness County Kansas App

You must use Safari browser (other browsers won't work on iOS)

1. Open Safari on your device
2. Go to app.nesscountyks.gov
3. Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen
   (It looks like a square with an arrow pointing up)
4. Scroll down and tap "More" if you don't see "Add to Home Screen" right away
5. Tap "Add to Home Screen"
6. Make sure "Open as Web App" is turned ON
7. Tap "Add" in the top-right corner
8. Done! The app icon will appear on your home screen

Chrome browser works best

Easy Method:

1. Open Chrome on your device
2. Go to app.nesscountyks.gov
3. Look for an "Install" or "Add" prompt at the bottom
4. Tap "Install"
5. Done! The app icon will appear on your home screen

If you don't see the install prompt:

1. Tap the three dots menu in the top-right corner
2. Tap "Install app" or "Add to Home screen"
3. Tap "Install" to confirm

Chrome (Windows, Mac, Linux, Chromebook)

1. Open Chrome on your computer
2. Go to app.nesscountyks.gov
3. Look for an install icon (➕ or ⬇️) in the address bar at the top
4. Click it and select "Install"
5. Done! The app opens in its own window

Microsoft Edge (Windows, Mac)

1. Open Edge on your computer
2. Go to app.nesscountyks.gov
3. Look for an install icon (➕) in the address bar
4. Click it and select "Install"
5. Done! Find the app in your Start Menu (Windows) or Applications (Mac)

Safari on Mac

On phones/tablets:

• You'll see a Ness County Kansas app icon on your home screen
• When you open it, it looks like a regular app (no browser bars)

On computers:

• The app opens in its own window (not in a browser tab)
• You can find it in your Start Menu, Applications folder, or App Drawer

After installing the app:

1. Open the Ness County App from your home screen
2. Go to the Notifications page
3. Tap Enable Notifications
4. Choose Allow when prompted
